Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. Growing up, she listened to lots of classical music and older boleros. Also, she listened to traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana loves tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas and any form dramatic performance. She started singing and studying songs with her mother and commenced more serious training in singing at the age of 16 under the renown Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. She continued her musical training in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera choruses and chamber ensembles. Following her move to America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her place in the southern part of California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She has been involved with a number of local projects in both teaching and performer because of her enthusiasm of music and art. Ana was a former participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing classic Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
