Rosalia
Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is a Spanish flamenco and pop artist. As a teenager, she has worked both in traditional and popular music. However, her musical interests have expanded to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Pepe Habichuela Flamenco guitarist who is renowned for her talent, described her voice by saying it was sweet and had an old-fashioned bite. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit topping the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually receiving a Grammy. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami collaborated on songwriting with a variety of producers and artists including Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was released in the month of March 2022, following an appearance of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish solo performer to be a part of the show on Saturday Night Live. As well as winning three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
