Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress who is famous for her roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. The actress began her career in the her twenties. Her character in the role of Anil Kapoor in Tezaab has made her extremely well-known. Her next film was the movie Dil In which she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. In Mumbai the city she was born by middle class parents. At a very young stage, she was able to study dance. As a teenager she started acting, and was a victim for a few years as the majority of her films at first were unsuccessful. Then she found her feet and became one of the top actresses within the Indian film business. Following her marriage she had a break in her career before re-entering the business. In the last few years, Dixit had a major role to play as a character in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit is nominated to win the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Dixit was also awarded the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honour in India. She is also acknowledged for her work in the field of charity.
